A. You can order variety kinds of handmade rugs
and Kilim, Gabbeh, Gagim, … by email, phone or
fax Send us
We would review your request and appropriate
response as soon as possible will send you.
If you like we invite you to make a short trip
to Iran and choose your favorite rugs.
Q. What methods of payment does
PersianCarpetExport.com accept?
A. Transaction through Letter of credit is the
best way for both sides, the other method of
payment is transferring through bank, which is
acceptable, and other methods should be
negotiate, These methods should be acceptable.
Some proposals such as shipping goods to
destination and payment after receiving the
goods without any warrantee are not acceptable.
Q. Why letter of credit?
A. Letter of credit is the most secure way for
buyers and sellers in international
transactions, buyer does not need to pay before
receiving the goods, and seller is sure that the
buyer would receive his order on destination and
payment would be on time, banks actually create
confidence and trust between the parties, you
can open L/C after receiving Performa or
contract in your bank for our company , the bank
would follow the process and after receiving the
goods on destination you can free the goods from
custom .If you need more details, please contact

Q. Can we set the contract before
purchasing from Persian Carpet Export?
A. Yes, if need a contract, you can send a draft
from contract to us, we would review it and send
it back or we can make a draft and you review
it. Totally based on the sides’ agreement the
contract would be ready to be sign.
Q. What shipping options are available
to me as a PersianCarpetExport.com customer?
A. You can choose between vessel, air plane and
truck.
Because of the difference in costs through the
above methods, you can ask for one of the method
or combination from two (vessel & truck)
The most popular is maritime (Vessel) because of
its low-cost and usually takes 20” or 40”
container, if the amount of your order is less
than a 20” container we can use just a part of
container , but it would take a longer time.
The fastest way is shipping through airplane,
and it is possible to all airports including
custom, in this method the cost would reduce for
more weight for per Kg.
One of the most common ways for European
countries is shipping through truck because of
its best price and least time.
Q. How long does the shipping carpet
take?
A. Regarding the method of shipping and the
distance we can predict this time, commonly
through air is about 10 days, truck 20 days,
maritime 45 days.
Q. How much do I have to pay for
shipping, handling and insurance?
A. If you want to pay CIF, then there would be
no need to pay for shipping and handling, but if
you pay, FOB then you have to pay for shipping
and insurance which depends on your request, you
can pay on destination or departure.

Q. How can we contact you?
A. You can contact us via emails, telephone or
fax 24/7 and we would answer as soon as
possible, the preferred way is through email,
because of its more facilities. You can visit

Q. What happens if my rug is damaged or
lost while transiting to me? Who is responsible?
A. Generally all of our company shipping has
covered insurance, so in the case of any
defection the insurance company would be
responsible. If you want us to cover with Iran's
insurance, you'd better read the insurance page
in our website. If you like you can insurance
the goods through your favorite insurance
company.
Q. How are the rugs packed?
A. Rugs are usually packed in 1.00 x 0.50 x 0.50
meter bales with approximate weight of 80 KG and
covered with two layers nylon, if other method
is preferred( pallet, role, one by one) please
mention it.
Q. How long does it take to get ready my
order?
A. When you order the specific amount of rugs,
we will wash and make them ready to be exported.
It usually takes about 30 days for this to be
done, and then we will send them to you.
Q. What are your prices?
A. Because of the variety in Persian rugs we
need to know your exact interest in the kind,
quality, size, etc… For example whether you are
interested in new or old, what are your favorite
colors? Do you ask for CIF or FOB? Such examples
would effect on the prices. If you like
considering any conditions please let us know.
Q. What are the documents we receive
simultaneously with the sent rugs?
A. You will receive invoice, a packing list, and
form A and airway bill or bill of lading.
